Wild Paradise River Camp
Situated on the banks of the Orange River.

Situated on the banks of the Orange River, 50 kms north of Pofadder, the tiny village of Onseepkans is the home of Wild Paradise Riverside camp. It offers a peaceful stop over or a great base to explore the area for a few days. As the base camp for Gravity Adventures, you also have the option of joining a rafting trip, either for just a day (subject to availability), or one of our multi day wilderness trips. The campsite has spacious grassed sites, electrical points, established shade trees and direct access to the river for fishing and swimming – no steep retaining walls. There are a number of bomas with prep tables, sinks, lights and elecrical points.
Camping is very informal and relaxed and consists of grass with large shaded trees overlooking the Orange River. Stands are not marked and are therefore on a first come basis. There are braai stands available as well as 2 Boma’s with prep and wash up facilities. 3 plug points for electricity are available for general use. Two large communal ablution blocks are situated in the centre of the property with showers and flush toilets. In season (school holidays) it is essential to book as there are rafting groups in camp on certain nights.
