Breede River Rafting
Rafting and camping close to Cape Town

Just over an hour from Cape Town, The Breede is the largest wine producing area in the country. The river winds its way through the countryside making for a relaxing day out. The river here consists of stretches of flat water and flowing channels through the reed islands. There are no demanding rapids, which makes it the perfect trip for all ages and skill levels. We use inflatable 2 person ‘crocs’ for this trip – they are stable and easy to paddle and make the perfect tanning and swimming platform. A truly chilled day out in the country, with a glass of wine to end it off. We also have a 2 day, 1 night option and longer trips by arrangement.
A full day of relaxed rafting, starting with a light snack and including a generous picnic lunch on the river banks. Snacks and a glass of wine or grape juice end the adventure.
We need a minimum group size of 8 people to run a trip (smaller group by arrangement) and can accommodate a maximum of 50. Minimum age is 8 years.
Two days of relaxed rafting and a night spent camping under the stars on an island. A minibreak in nature close to Cape Town. You can also opt for chalet or tented accommodation.
We need a minimim group size of 5 for this trip and can accommodate a maximum of 24 people. Larger and smaller groups by arrangement. Minimum age is 8.
